This painting is about a search for freedom and control. Can we control freedom? Is there freedom under control? Does a perfect balance between freedom and control exist?

The painting is build up with three layers that express the search for freedom and control.

A black mainly rectangular pattern of lines, sometimes provided with a grid is the first layer. This layer symbolizes the so-called "box thinking".

The second layer is a colorful layer of free expression and explosions. It symbolizes the ultimate form of free expression in form and color and crushed every "box thinking".

The third layer is made of rectangular surfaces, and a large dense yellow plane. They symbolize a controlled search for the perfect balance between freedom and control.
