2010The rain from the heaven's above is more than just a blessing. Our earth and we as human beings cannot live without it in order to survive. Deserts show us what happens when the rain disappears out of our lives. Purple Rain with it's purple color gives the rain a more colorful, royal and dignified place in our existence. A place of more awareness.

This painting is the first painting in the Nature series which is inspired by some amazing
natural ice drawings I saw on a small frozen pond in the winter of 2008 / 2009.
The lines of the ice drawing formed the basis of Nature 01 that turned into a colorful composition.
